When the blocks for the Jane Stickle quilt were being drafted and taught to classes, the classes banded together and created names for each one. So my Calendar Guys are apparently unable to do the same thing for "Flying Geese Up And Down." Is that really the name of this block? I realize I'm being critical without a constructive suggestion, but geez.
Today I finished Part 1 of Bonnie's Old Tobacco Road mystery and got a start on Part 2. These will be pinwheels (once I have 388 of them).

I would call the block, "Rondo McCalister visits Vatican City and meets Budda in B minor." I bet you could write a post about that title.
Your choice of colors for the quilt block are so much more cohesive than the calendar. The calendar block looks random.
