This Post Brought To You By The Dulcet Tones of Aimee Mann

No sleep. One cat yowling from his (perceived unjust) confinement. One cat clumsily scraping into everything, robbed of her depth perception and frantic for contact. Long night.

No sleep for me that is. After a long night and eight hours of her own confinement, Maggie could be found in blissful repose on my March quilt. Poor thing is having a very hard time getting comfortable with that foolish thing on her head, so I didn't have the heart to move her. The Pickle might be taking a field trip this weekend. A couple of days without anyone locked up should help our collective peace of mind immensely.

Oh, and quilts. I finished the remaining leaves and strew them about the vine border (strew is SO a word, I looked it up). A little applique glue, and Bob's your uncle, this baby's ready to go through the machine. I won't be doing any of this by hand because of my thumb issues. Still, that is a ton of sewing to do, even by machine.

Hey - I have one leaf left - where should I put it?

Upper left corner!!! Sympathy, sympathy for the cat / sleep issues.

All I have is a wow, that quilt is gorgeous!

And a heartfelt "you poor baby" for both you and for Maggie.

looks beautiful
I would place that leaf above the blue flower on the bottom left :)
can't wait to see how you quilt this.

The quilt looks great, I would put the leaf in a drawer, and start quitling! Hope the cats settle down soon.

Beautiful job! What kind of "field trip" is The Pickle probably taking?

This is a gorgeous quilt! I would put your extra leaf to the right of the red flower in the lower right corner. Either that or incorporate it into your label somehow on the back...oooh, I like that idea better!

Oh this is a gorgeous quilt! I'll say upper right corner, only because it is the only area no one didn't get dibs on!

Bottom left corner looks empty - I would strew (yeah it's a word) a leaf or two and another flower looking like it had fallen from the vine.
Or do the label or drawer thing. LOL
Looks terrific so far, look forward to seeing it quilted.
