Not that the slow progress is due to my feline helpers at all...
After all, they're yarn lovers themselves. They love the way it tastes.
Oh, this darn sock. I started it for a bit of no-brainer knitting in front of the television. And then there was laddering. And then there were dropped stitches. And then there was Magic Loop (which is a kind of knitting where you only use one big circular needle).
I'm told that my snail's pace at Magic Loop can be solved with practice. Which is good news, because I have another whole sock to make!
In other news, I started my new job last week and it rocks! Also, I finally, finally made it back to a quilt guild meeting tonight. I think it's been since around March or April! Tonight was show & tell, and I showed my finished Miniature Baltimore Album and my (laughably named) March Quilt. Now to get some more UFOs finished for next month!

Heh heh, my workd verification is "unessima". That sounds like a medical condition as in "she suffered from chronic unessima". Nice sock Honey!
Hahahaha.. That is so cool!!! They really love the way it taste. LOL!!!
I don't think I would get even the first sock done let alone two. Hope you get the second one done before winter has come and gone! LOL
That's the same sock that you were doing the heel flap on when I saw you on Saturday morning, right? I don't think there are any worries that you'll finish the second soon. My experience, on every pair of socks I've made so far is that sock #2 goes a lot faster than sock #1. I'm given to understand that that's not the normal, but I refuse to have second sock syndrome.
WV: Bartaked. Essentially the past tense of partake but in a bar.
That's one beautiful sock....
I'm sure you'll make another soon.
This is one reason why I only knit short socks. I only *buy* no-show socks to wear, so I figure why should I knit socks halfway up my knee?! LoL!
Currently knitting socks for my Dad (can be seen in my Ravelry projects) for Christmas. Stalled halfway thru second pair cause my 18 mo old tangled my yarn. Ugh!
